Short research description: 

The research activity of our laboratory has been focused:
1) on the antioxidant compounds – polyamines and phenolic compounds related to the plant growth and differentiation and involved in biotic and abiotic stresses. Beside of plant models alfalfa, potato, wheat and spruce we aimed our research at the investigation of activities of antioxidants in various fruits.
2) on the regulation of somatic embryogenesis of conifers, incl. phytohormonal analysis, cryopreservetion etc.; regulation of seed dormancy
