Researtch activities of my team concerns :

- Analytical development for different classes of compounds (essential oils, terpenes, alkaloids and polyphenols)

- Develop knowledge on chemistry of active compounds using a range of analytical equipments (NMR, HPLC, GC/MS ; LC/DAD/ELSD & and LC/MS) for the characterization of bioactive natural products

- optimizing protocols for extractions (microwaves, Ultrasound, High Pressure) and use our expertise in turbidity-based solubility studies to develop high yielding solvents to substitute hazardous solvents for processing (extraction, purification) and/or formulation

- Plant cell expansion and secondary metabolites’ expression in standard and single-use bioreactors
